The team behind Aufguss WM
The board of Aufguss WM consists of a President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Jury President. Together, they are responsible for the strategic direction, financial governance, organizational structure, and sporting integrity of the championship. The board oversees international coordination, national partnerships, regulatory development, and long term growth, ensuring that both the competitive and organizational standards of Aufguss WM remain professional, transparent, and consistent worldwide.

What we stand for
The Aufguss-WM e. V. is a registered association whose members have set themselves the task of organizing and, above all, further developing international Aufguss Championships in Classic and Show Aufguss at a high level for the global public.
The focus is on the sauna guest, to whom the sauna aufguss is to be presented at the highest level, but also on the Aufguss master, whose opportunity it is to develop further in the competition. The main goals are to showcase the skills of Aufguss masters and to promote international understanding and exchange between Aufguss masters.
A lot of value is placed on the original intention of the aufguss as a health ritual and highlight of the sauna bath. This must not be lost in the aufguss show, rather the entertainment value is an addition and support. It is therefore the goal of the AUFGUSS-WM e. V. to formulate standards that can be used as quality features for a good classic aufguss and show aufguss worldwide.
